Sewing instructions

General steps to sew this garment. Seam allowance is 1 cm (3/8") unless stated otherwise.

Prewash and press your fabric before cutting so it will not shrink after sewing.
Print the pattern at 100%, check the test square and cut the pieces following the cutting list. Transfer notches, darts and button marks.
Sew the princess seams matching the notches; clip the curves before pressing.
Make the straps (turned fabric tubes), adjust the length during a try-on and sew them in place.
Sew the side seams right sides together and press open or finish the allowances.
Assemble the lining like the shell, attach it to the facings and bag it at the hem, leaving an opening to turn.
Insert the invisible zipper in the back or side seam and close the rest of the seam.
Hem: double-fold to the inside, press and topstitch or blind stitch.
